Alexandra Parker

LCSW

I’m Alexandra Parker, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Therapist with Bloom Psychology Group, PLLC.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges and build more fulfilling, balanced lives. With many years of experience, I help clients manage daily stress, understand and regulate emotions, grow from the past, and offer themselves grace in the process.

My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution – Focused therapy.

As someone who has personally navigated perfectionism and people – pleasing tendencies, and someone who has spent over a decade as a competitive gymnast, I understand the value of combining mental health support with physical wellness, healthy routines, and a growth mindset. My goal is to help you build practical skills, break unhelpful patterns, and move toward the life you want.

Clients describe me as an active listener who is empathetic, non-judgmental, and engaged. If you’re ready to do the work, I’m ready to support you.

Kathryn Mercer

Administrative Officer

Kathryn is a North Carolina transplant who calls both Florida and Kentucky home. She lives in Mebane with her husband and two kids and enjoys watching college sports (especially track meets), listening to audiobooks, and baking.

Kathryn is a fellow business owner and former competitive track and field athlete. She is trained in HIPAA-compliance and is thoughtful and compliant with privacy needs.

She helps keep Bloom Psychology Group running smoothly -  ensuring your questions are answered and your care is coordinated with compassion.

Ollie

Resident Therapy Dog

Ollie is a rescue dog originally from Las Vegas. He loves napping in sunny spots and often rests at Dr. Marina’s feet during sessions. He occasionally pops into virtual appointments and is always happy to offer a wag and a calming presence.
